Looking to pick up a "beater" for long commutes - something I can rack up the miles on and not care. Living between NJ and Philly and noticed that NJ State Auction is open to the public. They have a few 80K+ mileage saabs now and again at good prices (or less). Anybody ever bought a car from the NJ auction? What was your experience -- is this a waste of time?
I figured I could give the car a good look and since I am fimilar with the 9-3/900 I could make a pretty good assessment of its longevity. I also know how to detect if its been in an accident etc.
BTW - I am not sure this is what I am going to do or if I am going to buy something new.
Thoughts??
