I had a customer who worked for a chemical co. that makes products for coating the inside of tanks. I acid etched the concrete, and he brought over the three part product.
1.First coat was a sealer.
2.Second was color.
3.Clear urethane topcaot with grit.
A few things that I learned was to cut-in all the edges so you don't have to force the roller into those area. Clean the concrete and etch very well. The topcoat has a higher number grit, which if I had to do it again, would go with the rougher grit. I have seem ads for just hand spreading the grit, but our were mixed in the bucket, and settled. So, where we fisrt started has a nice even grit, but some areas lack any. This to me, is the most important part.
With no grit, when the floor gets wet it is super slippery. So, whichever way you decide to go, make sure you keep that in mind.
I am really happy with the result.
