I have been working with youth for years with camping programs, summer engineer programs and sports. I been in a tech program teaching kids cad and drafting. But i was look for something different like autoshop like the have in high schools but different. I would run it in the summer and teach kids about cars they are not familar with like Saab. I found Saab is the best on line carline that has procedures, pics, and bb more then anyother. I live in the Sub. of detroit and gm, ford and Chrysler is all they see not many imports other then jap cars. I asked the groups now i am working with and the kids found interest. I think with the internet and the performace of saabs that we could hold the interest of middle school and high school kids. I have the facilities for this and would like to do this this fall (for after school) or next summer for a summer camp. Do you think i could get any sponcers like junkyards, saab dealers, or private clubs to donate parts or cars. I have always found it difficult to accept free goods without paying or working for them. Do you guys have any other ideas to add. Why not start the saabers young and get them hooked early.
