Fly to California instead.... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Wed, 11 Aug 2004 13:07:30 In Reply to: Dealer swap question, BrianD, Mon, 9 Aug 2004 20:13:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Dealer trades cost a couple of hundred bucks, which often is not a deal breaker. You can send a tow truck or transport or a team of guys can drive it from the other dealer.
If you like your local guys they should rock 'n roll for you no problem. Relieving the inventory, instead of buying a car from another dealer, is important and for a very aggressive deal I'll specify that a particular price is for a particular car in stock, but with current huge incentives, having to pay for a dealer trade or a little more should still bring you in quite a bit under $30k, quite a bit.
Or you could fly to California and drive my nocturne blue back.
Merlot is nice though. You could always ask you local dealer to try and make you like the merlot a little better than what they quoted you.
