Not one issue to report! I have had as good of luck with VWs as I have with Saabs (knock on wood). Already had its first full syn oil change and full hand wax.

While the Passat has treated me well the 1.8T is no Saab Turbo. I am constantly looking for that extra kick. I sure miss the aero and the Viggen. This is a good short-term solution for now though.

I just recently got a corporate rental closer to JC. Its only a 40 mile commute each way now. We still haven't sold the house in Texas (Anyone want a good deal?). I am probably going to move the family back for the school season and commute weekly or bi-weekly. Its rough, but the housing market in Texas is very soft.
