last year I replaced my 88 SPG with a 2K viggen
The viggen does not have the rock solid feel as well as the huge amount of character that the SPG has however it is a very fun car to drive & with a few very simple mods to reduce the viggens weakest link, torque steer. Adding a VRK & rear sway bar greatly improves the driving pleasure from the car.
My viggen has been a excellent daily driver & also has served me at a few days of drivers schools. It takes a LOT of mods on a C900 to have the power of a stock viggen however tweeking the 2.3T there is only a little room for improvement. I have owned my car for almost a year now & the only problem has been a bad AC compressor. I purchased the 5dr version & as you know since it's a hatch it still has the versatility of the C900 however in a much more reliable form.
I would highly suggest at least getting your brother to testdrive one. The torque these cars produce is VERY addictive!
