I just got back from the local dealer and wanted to pass this along.
I had noticed unusual wear to 1 of my tires, wear in the center of the tire which is usually indicative of high tire pressure. I had inflated the tires to 43 psi front and 42 psi rear, after looking at the sticker on the driver side door pillar.
THIS IS NOT THE RECOMMEND PRESSURE, but the maximum allowalbe pressure.
Saab has a file in their Service and Warranty Reference Library reference this.This sticker change was apparently made on all '04 cars, in preperation for future NHSTA requirements.
The recommended tire pressure for '04s is as follows.
