I purchased my latest saab...500 dollars for a 1987 9000 turbo with 182k on the clock. light body damage and wasnt running right when i got it...changed out the mass air sensor (i knew exactly what the problem was and had a spare one LYING AROUND) and it runs like a champ, no noises, no oil burning, and a tranny that shifts like butter with no crazy bearing noises. Good paint otherwise, i just threw a nice coat of wax on it.
Lets see...im almost 19. What have I owned...
1990 9000 S (first car, sold)
1988 9000 Turbo (used shortly then used for parts, junkyard)
1980 99 GLi (crazy story, sold)
1987 9000 Turbo (daily driver)
1988 Porsche 944 S (fun as hell, now sold for huge profit)
1986 Porsche 944 Turbo (current summer fun mobile...Warning:this car is extremely fast, waiting for hotwire system and in the process of pulling engine and repaiting, by myself!)
My dad had lots and lots of european sports cars, he says they are a disease that I caught. Is this true? hehehe
