They are definitely bad mannered. Car Talk keeps bringing it up, too. Some Jetta drivers must really have pissed them off. I saw someplace that some of the major speeding offenders are 16 to 21 yrd old females in (usually) Japanese cars. And from what I see on the roads it's not a surprise. I don't care so much about the speed--it's the weaving, erratic maneuvers and tailgating. Accidents waiting to happen.

My neighbor bought a used Jetta for his 16 yr old daughter and I'm not at all sure that was a good move, knowing the kid. But then that neighbor and his wife are clueless enough to hardly ever wear seatbelts, even in a Wrangler with the doors off.
