Well, to be more specific...in return for the new-to-us 2001 9-5 wagon having an auto tranny, my wife has sworn up and down that she has no problem with me purchasing a 5 spd c900 as soon as we're homeowners in about 1.5 years. Or as she refers to it, one of those "ugly funny looking things." She's quite taken with the 9-5, esp. since it's now her car and I've taken over the 98 Subaru Legacy wagon. I waited 4 years to get our first Saab so another 1.5 years is nothing!

In order to make this possible and avoid the "buy it AFTER the new dishwasher, clothes dryer, etc etc etc" I have now started an official "Brian's Classic Saab Fund" so that I'll have money in hand when the opportunity arises :-) . Donations are welcome!
