Stolen 'Other Car'...

My father in law went out of his NYC apartment today to find his car missing! It's a 92 Sentra SE-R, and he's an afficionado of small cheap fast cars, and he really loved this one. He was ripped, but eventually came around and decided at least he had his health.
Those of you outside NYC may be suprised to know that car theft was way way waaaaaay down here, and practically unheard of (compared to 10 or 15 years ago), especially on the west side. He's been in the city all his life, so he still used the Club (which doesn't work if somebody wants the car).
I can only guess somebody nabbed it for the engine, which I think swaps into a ton of other Nissans. Charming engine, tho, no power until 4500 rpm and then all of it at once, so you always had to rev rev rev.
Either that or the city 'relocated' it...they moved my NG 3 times when I lived there (not impounded, but actually hooked up, moved, and dropped somewhere else, usually for utility work or stealth midnight paving). We looked in a 15 block raduis, tho. I ran across no other Sentras of that era, which is strange as half the cars parked on NYC streets are vintage Japanese econoboxen. Maybe somebody at a chop shop put out the word, I dunno...
I guess it's worth a shot, it's an old squarish black SE-R with NY plates starting with 'CLH'...email me if you see it.
Now, how to get him into a turbo 900 of some flavor...he has quite a jones for the Japanese stuff...
