I was just there (harrisburg) for a week visiting family. (Corvette at Carlisle was going on, saw hundreds of Corvettes driving slowly, at my hotel was a C5? Lingenfelter Twin Turbo, some Classic's and a new C6 with racing trim.)

Anyway, we were on the freeway going up a hill all clumped up behind a slow minivan in the fast lane, he was astride a semi and couldn't pass him so a huge gap had opened in the right lane behind the semi. A lifted Ford F150 starts to shoot the gap at high speed but there's no place to get over into the fast lane and he's doing 90 and we're all doing 50.

So I saw that he was still accelerating as we approached the semi and I felt a bad thing coming. I said "holy shit" and prepared to make room somehow and just then he blows right by us and at the last moment skims by and passes the semi on the right shoulder, between a guard rail no less.

Craziest thing I've seen yet driving, but really just a reflection of how frustrating it would be to live in a place where everyone drives slow and cops are everywhere. (not saying he was justifed of course, crazy fool)

No thanks. Boston driving may be many things, but supervised isn't one of them.

P.s. I saw a total of 5 Saabs in PA, no C900's or 9K's. When I got into the parking lot at Logan after the trip I go to unlock my door and my key won't work. I whirl around and spy my car a few feet away. I've been trying to unlock an identical 1993 Imola Red 9000 Aero. In the next row is a 98CSE and a 9-5 wagon. It's good to be back.

License on the Aero was 'PINK' , didn't catch the state but not MA as i recall, anyone here?
