Hey, guys, I just wanted to tell you about a not so great experience I had with Saabdepot, A Canadian supplier of used Saab parts.

I ordered two used Saab center caps from Darial (he seems to run the place). New caps from the dealer go for $16 each - Darial agreed to sell me two used ones for a total of $25. And that's when my problems started. First, it took almost two weeks for my order to be delivered. Then, when it finally came, it contained only one, not two caps.

I assumed there was just an oversight, so I called them up. However, even though they agreed that it would have been ridiculous for me to have paid $25 for one used cap, when dealers sell them for $16 each, NEW, Saabdepot refused to provide me with a refund or to send another cap. The best they were willing to do was to offer me a 'store credit'.

What a great way to build customer relationship and future business (NOT!). I'm out of pocket for only a small amount, but the bad taste left in my mouth means I will not deal with them in the future.

So, if you're thinking about ordering stuff from them, just beware. And make sure you put your order in writing rather than doing it over the phone. Otherwise, you might become of victim as well of their mistakes.
