Hi fellow Saabers,

This is the 2nd time I think I'm running into a frudster who use this method. This is slightly different than the fraud bank check. I didn't follow through last time. This time I might go a little further...

I saw a too good to be true ad at cars.com and there was not a telephone #. So I e-mailed and got a response that this guy is going through divorce and that he is now in UK (the cars in NY). He's selling his car to sustain him during this process and he is not reachable by phone. But he asked that I go through an 'escrow' service to protect both parties. Anyways. Previous time was similar. It was on Ebay while back. His wife had diesd and he was at UK (again) and could not be reached by phone. I don't know the ending to this. I will check out the 'escrow' and report back. But just want y'all to know that this is another type that you gotta watch out for.
