Clay, my previous post all started when I got my insurance policy canceled in Knoxville way back when I was in school... Go Vols! Anyway, I would really take your day and contact some insurance company. I know it's easy to get Geico policy, but what they do is they just use different insurance company and your record dictates what company does Geico use, and Geico makes percentage. (or that's what I understood when I was trying to have them match some of my quote I got from other ins. co.) By skipping essentially a insurance co broker, you can save some money. I pay little over $1000 a year and I live in Seattle where insurance premiums are super high, and I am too a single male at age 30... I think Geico and Progress offered me around $700/6 month... WTF?
