go to:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
and you will see the .pst files in there. If the 'Local Settings' folder is not seen, you will have to go to:
Control Panel > Folder Options > View (tab) - scroll till you see 'Show Hidden Files and Folders' and select that.
Just back up those files before reinstalling. That contains all of your data like emails, contacts, notes...etc. It just doesn't hold your ISP settings to connect to your email account. Those you will have to enter manually.
