I never put my PB in the fridg. Organic, All Natural, Name Brand, Smooth, Chunky, Extra Chunky, I have always just left 'em out. Makes the consistancy better and if you need to stir the oil back in (organic & all natural) makes that job easier too. Of course once opened it doesn't last long in my house so no matter on my end. If you're only going through a jar a year perhaps there is an argument for refrigeration. Being that peanuts are heavy with oil I would further argue though... "would you store Peanut Oil (or any oil for that matter) in the fridg?; Nope!"
