Generally, this is very good for SAAB, though I was disappointed that the 9-5 got a slightly lower rating then the 9-3 or the 9-2x (maybe newer technolgy in those?) These days its said that other manufacturers have caught up because they all claim to be among the safest cars based on their own internal tests. However, this underscores the fact that SAAB and Volvo are still leaders in safety, even among the luxury europeans.
