is this your first dog ownership?
do you live alone?
approximately how many hours (straight and accumulative) are you at work each day?
do you have a social life, taking you out of the house?
dogs are a big responsibility
puppies are a real big responsibility
two puppies, well
your postings seem to indicate that you need to think this out, glad you're getting help here
Iam's website has good breed library
I'm a big-time dog guy
had a 150-lb Alaskan Malamute (Thor) for almost 10 years
followed with a 75-lb Siberian Husky (Khatanga) for another 10 years (still miss him, put him down in January, an incredible dog)
have now had an Austrailan Shepherd (Sidney) for over 6 months. He's almost eleven months old now. I did a lot of research prior to selecting him, as my life circumstances are much different than when I got Khatanga.
just because you can now have a dog, and someone has puppies, don't rush into something this important. After all, you can hardly swing a leash without hitting someone with Golden puppies. That's there biggest problem. Not to diss the GR owners out there, but the breed is WAY too popular. A lot of disreputable breeders just trying to make a buck, instead of caring about the dogs or the breed.
OK, pretty long, but I can talk about dogs all day.
good luck, do some research, get back to us
