D'ya'spose Lutz really knows what a Trollhattan car is all about, as opposed to an Opel? I suspect he does.
I disagree with Lutz in the respect that I do think the geographic location of a design group does indeed matter. I think lifestyle plays into design more than one can imagine.
Is the Zeta chassis a GTO or a CTS/STS/SRX? Or is it something new?
I for one would like to see only an MCE, mid cycle enhancement, of the 9-5, and retain the 9-5 as the traditional Saab.
GM/Lutz wants to go charging off in a new direction when finally Saab has a chance to make money on a proven design.
From what I'm hearing, the Trollhattan Saabs, European only Caddy/9-3 derivative, and Opels would be a high capacity fit for Trollhattan.
