The wheels on the GLI, especially if your ordered aftermarket alloys, may possibly require a centering ring. Many aftermarket wheels are not hubcentric such as standard factory wheel are. The hubcentric rings are very thin plastic or metal rings that fit inside of the wheel. The fitment will be obvious. If the wheels were meant to be used with hubcentric rings, you'll definintely experiencing a shimmy at speed.
