We waited in line outside in the sub-freezing DC wind to see the US Constitution. Once inside and through security we were told we had to wait for the half hour when we could watch an 18 minute video which is normally optional after which it would be another 60 to 90 minute wait. When asked why they were not telling people outside they said it was too cold for staff personel... America, land of the free to be jerks. You can tell I was pissed. We left and the line outside was twice as long so I went down the length of it letting people know what the deal was and doing a job that the building's administrators should have the courtesy to do for visitors. I was embarrassed for people visiting our capitol from other parts of the world.
