overpay, and figured out too late that you would not.
Don't worry about Sales Mgr 2. He is probably right more often than not, making plenty of high margin sales, and letting the occasional informed shopper get awy. It sounds like you were honest and up front with everybody you dealt with. That's as far as your responsibility goes. If anybody is disappointed, that's their problem.
The service writers at dealerships 1 & 2 will be happy to have your service business. They won't overcharge you more than they ordinarily would because you bought your car elsewhere. Enjoy it!
