I really felt the need to hand code this from scratch since I was not comfortable with the security flaws in publicly available programs. I have a friend who uses a public gallery image program to host images and every once in a while, someone is able to hack in and erase his website (he's always got backups, thankfully) and phpBB was just creamed by security hacks this past week. One of my favorite boards was offline for a week due to it.
Anyway, it took about six months longer than I thought it would but I'm beta testing now. Have a look at my profile and gallery and email if you notice something that doesn't work right.
Again, please drop me an email if you have comments. That way I can track them and make sure they are addressed. My email is my To Do list.
