That is a very nice scope. I suggest, depending on the accessories it comes with, that you get a couple of good eye pieces. Make sure they are wide field!! check out Meades site for further details. FYI...a 28mm eye piece is the most comfortable as it matches your eyes pupil. Also, maybe a 60mm for deep sky/nebula observing. Ari suggested binos. I agree this is a must. If you do decide to get some ....get 10x 50MM wide field....6.5 degrees at 1000 yards is a good number.
Start with the moon, then m-42 ( Orion nebula) located in the sword. then the planets. You should be able to resolve the cassini division in saturns rings.
