I don't think so. The concept 9-3X was all-wheel drive, but I'm not sure the concept 9-3 SportHatch was. As far as I know, Saab doesn't have any plans to produce an AWD Swedish-built car anytime in the near future. None of their AWD cars (and trucks, if you count the 9-7X as a truck) current and future are produced by Trollhatten. There's the 9-2X and 9-6X (Japan) and 9-7X (USA). The only Swedish SAAB AWD I know of is the concept 9-3X.
The SportHatch concept featured the "TwinFloor" in the trunk where under the floor of the trunk was a tray with a divider and under that was storage space. I wonder if the concept even had a spare tire. According to the AutoWeek posting link someone else posted here, the spare tire will be an option and if one doesn't opt for it you get a subwoofer instead. I can't believe that anyone WOULDN'T take the spare tire, and I assumed this was a DOT requirement.
The concept had 20" wheels, which I doubt will even be an option on the production model. The Autoweek thing claims that the dual-stage turbo on the concept will indeed make it into the production version.
