Question for you collectors out there about my balls... Posted by turrbo [Email] (#8) [Profile/Gallery] (more from turrbo) on Sat, 19 Feb 2005 19:13:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Er, baseballs that is. But I got your attention didn't I? I have a large collection of autographed baseballs, ranging from Babe Ruth to Joe DiMaggio to Ted Williams to Hank Aaron, and tons of others. There's over 50 in all. I know they're probably worth a little something, but I don't want to sell them.
My question is, they're sitting hidden in my basement. Would it be worth is to insure them? My homeowners policy won't insure them, so how could I do that?
Also, the balls seem to be laquered, which would detract from the value..is there anyway to restore them? I know they's not worth much, but its a fun thing to have. They were handed down from my grandfather, who had "connections!"
