I do it all the time. It should be seamless but sometimes Windows XP can be a pain. As others wrote, Windows needs to see the extension of the file, any file, to open it. I use Entourage on my Mac, which enables me to add the file extensions automatically (in Preference/message) but I would think other mailing software offer the same. Most of the time I use the Apple Double coding for my attachments but with XP you might want to code it for Windows. You can change the coding by opening a box by clicking the arrow near the Attachment in your mail Window. Hope this helps. Apple has an excellent forum site for asking questions.
