Of course I am in the same predicament. When GT3 came out, I was in college, had all the time in the world. NOw, i'd be surprised if i can play it once every two weeks, what with working 55 hours a week, plus an hour commute each way, plus trying to get to the gym, plus graduate school, plus running a web design company on the side... argh.

I dont' know if I have a 1st gen PS2 - its pretty old (like from 2001 or so). The PS2 has progressives scan? I know my TV has progressive scan....

I'll pick up the component cable today for the PS2.

BUT Gt-4 is a very cool game. Looks great, sounds fantastic. Much better than GT3, which I wasn't sure was possible.
