I bought our second SAAB at the end of January. The old '90 9000CDT finally gave it up after 170,000+ miles.
So we got a brand spankin' new 9-5 Arc. I tried to register on the SAA USa web site in the owners section.
1. You can't enter a 2005 model as the vehicle you own. What, did the current model year catch the webmaster by surprise?
2. Now when I try to log on, the site either dumps me out and says come back later, or when I get logged on, it wants to verify my vehicle because (obviously) the VIN I enter does not match up with the 2004 model which was my default registration choice.
Boy are these guys dorked up! If it wasn't for the fact that we've had SAABs for the last 15 years, I'd have never bought one based on the poor customer experience on their web site. I wonder how many customers they've lost because of a pisspoor representation of their flagship product through the web advertising interface.
Geeez, people, get it right.
Grrrrr!
