I miss old saab catalog.
I haven't lived long enough. but my first 'recieved' saab catalog was actually
1992 saab 900. (By korean version). since then I collected most of saab catalogs.
During the choas of moving (my parents house) they throw out my old magazine & catalog
collection since I'm here at U.S for studying.
anyhow. during the talking with my friends, suddenly I remember why I fell in love with saab.
It was the philosophy of saab. I learned it all from those catalog.
Back then early thru late 90s, saab catalog was about 50 pages long with beautiful picture
& interview of engineers at the side or explaining why they design some features like this.
I remember one woman designer of interior said why they design child seat since she has
a baby of that age..
I just miss old saab catalog. I wish somebody scan those old catalog and post it.
then Scott could built those old catalogs into our achieve.
I was looking NG900 and 9000 catalog of mid 90s thru E-bay quite some time and haven't had
any luck so far.
Of course, If you've been at the dealer enough or european delievery or saab museum,
you could gotten "Made in trollhatan' book. I think since year 2000, this book is only
publication from saab that truly explain philosophy behind our love-saab.
The catalog of these days.... I don't like it. It looks great but not much of philosophy.
I used like "state of indenpendence" ads. So far better than "Find your own road".
but that also couldn't show saab phil......
I don't know. I might be living in old day or ideal world. but I miss those catalogs with
all the philosophy behind our cars.... !!
