Hi all ....in the process of a DIY wheel refinishing job. The Aero's from my 91 9000T, ive stripped the clearcoat from the polished lips/edges and used a brass wire wheel, various grades of sanding papers, steel wool and Mothers mag polish to bring them to a reasonable shine. Nothing near perfect but for a 14 yr old car it will have to do. My question is that the centers will need to be repainted as well, leaving the edges nude and just waxed, am I foolish to try to use just plain old can spray paint? Does a higher quality product exist (Krylon,Rustoleum, etc) that would produce decent results? I have access to a pro style sprayer and compressor, would I need a moisture filter of some kind? Not looking for absolute perfection, just the best DIY I can do for little cash. Im a bit clueless when it comes to paint, thanks for all replys in advance.
