Interesting article from 1983 on cars driven down the Baja coast. Included is a 900 Turbo, kind of an interesting read.

Another article concerned the 9-5 X SUV. According to C&D, the Subaru B9 Tribeca, which was going to spawn the 9-6 X, was determined to need too many modifications to be able to adapt a diesel for the European market.

It suggested that the 9-5 X would be a 2007 model, would be built on the GM Theta platform (same as the Saturn VUE and the Chevy Equinox), and may be built in a Daewoo plant in Korea. The drawing reminded me of the BMW X5.

This was the first I had heard of this development, anyone else? Erik
