If you're right that this is a rebadge, they did a pretty good job of it.
The dash layout is very different from the Saab. And since the dash plastics continue down as one piece into the console, any similarities in the console are by design, not necessity. You're right about the gauges, and Draken is right about the steering wheel. They're definitely sharing some parts. They didn't share the cool vent directors from the Saab, which GM has been borrowing from Saab for other applications.
100% of the sheetmetal is new. This is a big contrast with the 9-2X and 9-7X, where only the front fenders, grille, and tailgate (9-2X) are restyled.
To me, if the unibody is the same before they start tacking stuff onto it, it's a rebadge. If only the floorpan and suspension components are the same, it's platform sharing. I can see where this could be a re-badge, but it's about as well hidden as possible.
The Malibu and G6 thing also surprised me...they don't look like they could possibly share anything other than a suspension setup. Look at the amount of rear overhang...the Malibu has about a foot more! Are you sure these are re-badges?
