It's about time the car companies fight back against the press who bites the hand that feeds them. I consider the article to be irresponsible, not objective journalism. The G6 is a very good looking car on the outside, and the interior is not the best, but it is not nearly as bad as the writer makes it out to be. Journalists like him don't realize the snowball effect that negative press has in so many ways. The rest of the press jumps on the bandwagon, car-people read this and tell all their non car-people-friends and acquaintances and it eventually affects how people view your company and brand. In market research when cars are evaluated unbranded and then branded, it's amazing how the biases show through. Similar research should be done on journalists to prove how biased they really are.
I've actually thought about writing a book on the effect of journalistic biases on the auto industry.
