Just had to boast about a few things here. Seems as though SAAB really takes the time to make sure everything is a perfect fit. From the car itself, down to a bunch of accessories I just bought from Saabcatalog.com
1) When I first tested the 9-5 Aero, my initial reaction was: "These seats fit me perfect, the dash layout is 100% for the driver, everything is in reach and easy to get to."
2) Metal desktop calculator. Needed a new one as mine was old and hardly working. It's just a calculator, but at the angle it's made, and the way it sits on the desk...it couldn't be anymore perfect and comfortable to use. Plus it's weighted nice and feels solid.
3) Griffin logo air valve caps for the tires. They screw down the whole length of the metal threads and tighten at the exact point where it meets the rubber on the valve. (I'm sure someone will steal them at some point though)
4) Metal trunk lid handle. Fits right behind the bottom screws on the back license plate. Again, fits perfect, went on in all of 1 minute and the perfect spot to grab to close the trunk.
5) Desk pen, flashlight, tire pressure gauge. Have only used the pen, but it's great to hold, writes well and looks good too!
6) Key holder. Metal braided key holder that looks great and has the perfect amount of slack in it for the SAAB key, house key, and a traditional emblem I have on it. Keys don't get tangled up in each other like other key chains I've had.
7) Anorak windbreaker. I'm one of those 'big guys' and this is sized perfectly. Enough room in the shoulders, is lightweight and repels rain nicely. Doesn't bunch up and is very comfy. Nice $30 jacket (on sale).
Just thought I had to praise them a bit here. I know the products aren't made by SAAB directly, but it seems as though they really went out of the way to find a manufacturer that makes these unique, and top quality. Everything just fits right...period.
Thanks for listening!
