Sell my NG900 for a C900 2-door? (long)

My dad's friend has an 86 900S 2-door notchback that I could pick up cheap. It needs some moderate work, such as a new PS rack and a battery. It is real clean and has SPG wheels. Black on red. I'm trying to decide if I should pawn my super clean 200k mile 95 900S 3door for it. i guess the determining factor would be if I could get enough from the sale to really polish up the notch, which I could probably get for $500. One thing I'm wondering is if most of my 87 900S's (3 door) tan interior would fit in the 86. Would pretty much all of it switch over, or none? I don't care for the faded red. If I ever have a Saab with a red interior, It'll be a black 99 turbo! I like C900s, have owned 2, but never a notchback. I'm pretty picky about driving nice cars, so do you think the maybe $1500-2000 I'd have left over from my NG be enough to make this notchback really nice? It's a cool ride! What would you do?
BTW-I didn't post this on the NG or C900 board because I want an unbiased opinion!
