19" LCD Monitor Help!

sorry, the last one had a string that was way to long in it.
OK So for a while I have had a Sony 15" LCD (not digital!) monitor which I have had no problems with and loved. However, I had a recent run-in with Dell and they gav eme a $50 coupon, plus a 25% of their LCD monitors. I can pick up either of their 19" flat-panel displays for $190 or $280. The $280 one has DVI input, and some USB connections on it. The one for $190 has only an analog input. Otherwise, they are the same.
2 questions:
1. Is this a deal
2. Is the DVI input worth the extra $90, and can I even hook it up with DVI to my computer?
THanks!
