My mother was shopping for a new wagon last week and I sent her to the saab dealer to see the 9-5 wagon. She liked it a lot but had sticker shock and went next door and bought a volvo V70. I bet she coulda gotten the 9-5 for the same price or less but the sticker price was much higher. If they sell the car for $29K why is the MSRP $38K? When I bought my VW Golf TDI I got it for about $1000 under MSRP, which was a good deal from what I have heard from other TDI owners. Saab should drop their prices to closer to what they actually sell cars for. My mother would have bought a 9-5 probably if the sticker was closer to sales price.
