I tell ya, out here in Silicon Valley, when I was a Tech/Marketing slave, the women in our industry were so damn driven... I swore if I ever ran a company, I'd hire women exclusively (except for the programmers - I'd hire the last group I worked with - most of them anyway - and all of them male rock star programmers, but the rest, definitely women!) ;-) I tell my wife that all the time. She runs her own company and her sister runs her own company as well... drive drive drive, which brings me back to my point...
Danica Patrick is out there with her eyes focused on winning and very little to distract her (sponsors, commercials for mortgage brokers, merchandising). Right now's the time for her perfect storm and if I was in Vegas, I'd be checking out her odds closely (since I had to get a refund on all my Stanley Cup bets). Her light frame is to her advantage, so I can only wonder when we'll see all drivers on some kind of wrestler weight watching programs.
Good for her! I hope she wins!
