I've had allergies all my life. Ties in with childhood asthma, delicate skin, etc. While natural is appealing, allergies can ruin your life so just dose it away. I use Claratin (loratadine by trade name) and it's the best for me. No reactions at all. Works all day. I take it in the morning. Also, I favor cotton clothes for my skin's sake. I wash with hair detergent which is milder than soap. I bathe in a sauna at least twice a week and dunk my head to sooth my sinuses (do hold your breath). Finally, I've forced myself to run two or more times a week to just tough it out and try to acclimate to the allergens. It's a messy, moist process but it clears out my passages and lungs. I theorize that you have to deal with all the body's sensitivities to suppress any one of them. I'm feeling betther than when I was young.
