I've lived in England for three years now, driving a NG900, and only once has anyone returned the "saab wave". When I lived in central Maine, driving an old 9000, I would get a return wave and a big smile all the time. In other ways, Brits and Mainers are fairly similar, they are both very reserved. But Mainers come out of their shell a bit when they are in their cars, I guess.
