was not a good approach and was hurting sales as has been discussed here many times. as others have noted the price with the employee discount was really not any better than what was available with the previous incentive/loyalty discount etc etc. but giving potential new customers a realistic up front price highlights what a good value a saab is and moves cars out the door.
i hope the sales translate into an improved bottom line for saab and not a good news/ bad news scenario " ie good news - sold 500 more cars last month but the bad news we lost $5000 per sale"
