I bought my Viggen from Saabway in late 2003. It was definitely a good experience.
Jim, the proprietor, was easy to deal with. The negotiations were quick and straightforward, and I think I got a good deal. After we agreed on a price, he took the car to an independent shop of my choice for a pre-purchase inspection. The car passed with flying colors, so I flew to Atlanta to finalize the deal.
If I remember correctly, it's a $65 or so cab ride to his place from Atlanta airport. He told me he would have paid the cab fare if I hadn't beat him up so badly on the price of the car. (I bet he tells everyone that so they think they got a great deal.)
His facility is a pretty basic used car lot. Don't expect the accoutrements of a high-dollar dealership. There's no fancy waiting room, no playroom for the kids, and no free cappucino. But hey, you're looking on the internet in order to get a good price, not a free cappucino, right?
I would definitely buy from Saabway again.
Good luck with your car hunt!
Dave
