The triple digit temperatures baking Phoenix have been in the news all week, but how much of the rest of the country is unseasonably hot this year too?

I enjoy warm temps normally, but this year is almost too much for me. Our unheated in-ground pool was nearly 90 degrees the other day! Friends with above-ground pools have been partially draining them and refilling with fresh water to keep temps down.

My wife stepped out doors yesterday evening from our 78 degree house and her sun glasses fogged over from the high humidity. The only other time this has happened was in Miami during the middle of summer.

All this after receiving over 6 feet of snow this past winter, reminds me of the weather extremes in Sioux City where my wife's Grandmother lived.
