Brooklyn Saab country?
Hmm..
I drove to Atlantic to find Rolands shop in the middle of the night on my way back home. I had trouble locating it, neighborhood wasn't stellar either. In the end it really wasn't on my commute route so I decided to stick with an indy - Roccos auto - on 65th street and 8th avenue (BKLYN) who is by a train/express bus into the city. They have eight Saabs under care, someone remarked about the woman who thought it was a BMW - she's only there for the paperwork. The shop is top notch in terms of quality of work and customer service. I like when my indy takes the time out to explain exactly why will be done, procedures and alternatives once the work is started - no surprises a la Saab dealer when the bill is presented.
Man these potholes are a bitch.
There is a hot-tub sized sinkhole around Rolands shop on flatbush adjacent to the empty lot (soon to be Nets arena) it was easily 8'X8' and three feet deep. I slammed the brakes with only inches to spare.
I got spooked when my CEL flashed under full throttle in sport mode while pulling away from a toll booth on the Turnpike. After four seconds I eased off the accelerator and it stopped. Not sure what that's all about.....
