Need some advice here...I purchased an OEM whaletail on Ebay. Was listed on 10/5 for $320 buy it now. Listing was only two hours old so I bought it. Seller wanted check only. My check for the full amount plus shipping was in the mail on 10/6 AM. Received an E-mail from sellor on 10/14 stating he had check and would ship the whaletail on 10/18. I responded, cool, so far. On 10/17 the check cleared my bank. On 10/18 I noticed the same seller listed a Saab OEM whaketail on Ebay...same add as for the one I purchased, same pictures, except higher shipping charge and no "purchase now" option. Starting price was higher and the Seller now accepted Paypal. Alarm bells went off. Auction for the (second?) whaletail ended 10/21 around noon...ending price was well over what I payed. The afternoon of 10/21 the sellor E-mailed that my money was no good and that he would return it or provide a whaletail sometime in the future. He also said that I could send him a Paypal payment and everything would be okay. Hmmmm! I tried to E-mail him and call....but no contact. Any thoughts from the community out there? I'm sure this will be a project that will keep me amused for quite a while....:)
