Installed in April of this year..... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 26 Oct 2005 10:13:14 In Reply to: way OT: bath tub liners, hdm, Wed, 26 Oct 2005 06:15:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Cost was around $3,100. Get prices from multiple companies and try to see their product first, ideally installed in a home and not their showroom! We went with the same company some friends used 5+ years ago, and they have been very happy with their installation.
Different companies have different patterns, colors, and appear to have different material thickness and possibly accuracy of fit.
Our home has 1-1/2 baths so taking the main bath out of service for an extended period of time was not an option. The liner was installed between 10am and 3pm on one day, bath was fully functional by the next morning. Even though we are happy with our unit, I would not recommend a tub liner for those who have more than one full bath. It would be cheaper to fully demo the old tub and install a "new construction" unit.
