I happen to catch the movie the other night and it's been drving me nuts for years. I'm pretty good with post war European sports cars but I just can't figure out what it is. It looks a little like an Aston Martin from the front but I don't think it is. My best guess is that it's some kind of obscure "coach built" car. There were a lot of small manufacturers in the era ('63) who just made the bodies and then used mechanical components from other manufactuers (such as Jaguar and Aston). Anyone know for sure what it is? She sure flogs it pretty good on the road to Bodaga Bay.
