I understand that every other country it is common place to signal to someone that you are approaching or would like them to change lanes--however that isn't common place in the US.
It makes since to me to signal, but I can see it pissing people off.
I was in the left lane going around two semi-trucks with a Miata (that I was likely following too closely) and this jack a$$ is flashing his brights at me--I had no where to go and had no idea why he was doing it.
In driver's ed classes they always taught us never to flash brights at people to signal for them to get over.
I automatically associate those who highbeam the hell out of everyone as the people who make crazy lane changes and tail gate.
I am not in anyway insinuting that it is the behavior you do--so don't take it as a flame.
Just curious how people have re-acted to you.
Cheers!
Chris
